The Farmer's Markets are a relatively new phenomenon
to hit South East Queensland. Initially beginning in Brisbane, the popularity
of the Farmer's Markets quickly spread to the Gold Coast and other surrounding
regional areas. The popularity of these markets can only be attributed
to the increasing public awareness of the fresh produce available locally,
direct from the grower/producer to the public.
