APPLE JUICE

In their juice factory David & Ros produce varietal apple juice quite unlike any other available in the market.  It has that super fresh varietal flavour that can only be obtained by bottling the freshly pressed juice immediately.  Varieties available vary depending on the season & demand but may include; Granny Smith, Jonathon, Royal Gala, Winesap, Mutsu, Pink Lady & Sundowner.  Adding the juice of other fruits to the apple juice has produced an increasingly popular & diversified range of juices which currently include; apple with ginger, lemon, mandarin & orange.

 

All juices are totally free of additives and have been minimally filtered to retain the freshest flavour possible.

 

 
APPLE CIDER

Growing in popularity is the cider which is available in both still & sparkling and dry & semi-sweet.  It follows the traditions of the English & French ciders.  Being lower in alcohol it is a lovely light alternative to grape wines and the perfect beverage to enjoy with cheese or that special dinner or enjoy at any time. 
BRANDIES

$20 each (5 for $80)
Producing brandies is another of David’s specialties.  Brandies are distilled wines & brandy is a term used to specifically to refer to distillates of grape wines, or more generally, to spirits distilled from any fermented fruit.  Currently available are Apple Brandy & Grappa – both 40% alcohol.

Naturally fermented apple cider vinegar is popular both as a gourmet condiment as well as a bulk product suitable for veterinary purposes.

REAL FRUIT LIQUEURS

Spirit distilled on farm is used to make fruit liqueurs.  These products are very popular because the liqueurs are made from the actual fruit – not essence and there are no preservatives or additives.  The range is continually expanding and currently includes; Apple, raspberry, boysenberry, blackberry, strawberry, plum, lemon, lime, mandarin, apricot & cumquat.
